Join us in Winnipeg, September 13 to 16th (evening welcome reception on the 13th) for the 9th Annual Council for Canadian Urbanism Summit, #CanU9 – City Making Math: the Art and Science of Urban Design!

Summit Program

Building on our past Summits, we will dig deeply into how we quantify and analyse the decisions that go into better urban design and development, and how we communicate the compelling “math of city-making” in new and better ways to change the conversations/decisions in cities across Canada.

Remember, our multi-disciplinary, interactive CanU Summits are unique in Canada, and unlike any of the usual conferences across the country. Our annual event attracts many of the best city-building thinkers and doers from across the nation to engage in the dynamic discourse. We celebrate and challenge Canadian Urbanism through high-energy interconnected discussions/debates and interactive presentations covering national and local issues and best practices, inspired by venues throughout the Forks and the Exchange District in Winnipeg. Our Summits truly do advance Canadian Urbanism as a movement. Join us and be a part of that advancement.

Please save the date, spread the word, and register early to save significantly on the Summit fee.

We have reserved 15 tickets on a first come first served basis for full time students at the discounted rate of $150. Please be prepared to show your student ID upon registration at the Summit on September 13th.

We look forward to seeing you in Winnipeg this September!
